Relaxed fit, slightly roomy. Take your usual size, or size down for a closer fit.

To protect the embroidery: turn inside-out before washing, use cold water on a gentle cycle, and wash with similar fabrics to avoid snagging. Hang to dry or tumble dry low. If you iron, turn inside-out and avoid pressing directly on the stitching.
